How to Get to Taveuni

Located some 300km (186 miles) from Nadi International Airport, across Fijis’ main island of Viti Levu and the azure waters of the Koro Sea, Taveuni is most commonly reached by plane. The hike must be done with a guide from the Vidawa Village who will take you to historic fortified village sites, astonishing lookouts and be introduced to Fijian medicinal plants and native birds. The Vidawa Village is about 1km after the turn-off to Waitabu Marine Park along the coastal road into the Bouma National Park.
