Family Accommodation on Kadavu
For families who love to adventure together, Kadavu is the ideal Fiji destination. Kadavu is not your average Fiji island. Here, there’s effortless cultural immersion to experience, the Great Astrolabe Reef to explore, waterfalls, rare birds, rainforest walks and much more! What makes discovering this pristine island in Fiji all the easier for families is the high-quality services of Kadavu’s resorts. Sure, not all the resorts are as “luxurious” as what you might find in the Mamanuca Islands or the Coral Coast, but resorts will go above and beyond to ensure you have an unforgettable family holiday in their island paradise. See some of the services the resorts provide in The Guide to Kadavu for Families and check out your family resorts on Kadavu in the list below!
1. Oneta Resort
A family-run resort on Ono Island, just off the north coast of Kadavu, Oneta Resort is a safe go-to for a family getaway. The resort has a number of villas and bures suitable for families, each with its unique design and charm. The Archway Bure is a great choice for large families with six single beds separated by hanging bamboo mats, an ensuite bathroom and two outdoor showers. On the north side of Oneta Beach, there are two villas that used to make up the Koromakawa Resort but are now run by Oneta Resort. The villas have multiple bedrooms, ensuring privacy for the whole family, as well as seclusion from the rest of the resort for an intimate family getaway. Fishing, diving, snorkelling, kayaking and more can be enjoyed here, while mum and dad are free to make use of the babysitting service available.
