Recognisable Places in Fiji

Seen a photo of Fiji and want to know where it is from? Chances are, it appears on this list of the most iconic locations in Fiji. We’ve put together a list of Fiji’s recognisable places, whether they’re popular landmarks, natural wonders or resorts. Take a look and start making your bucket list for visiting some of Fiji’s most iconic places.

1. Sawa-i-Lau Caves

Tucked away in the Blue Lagoon of the Yasawa Islands, the Sawa-i-Lau Caves are as iconic in photos of Fiji as they are in Fijian legend. It is said that these stunning limestone caves are the resting place of a 10-headed Fijian god called Ulutini. From resorts around the Blue Lagoon, such as the Blue Lagoon Beach Resort and Coconut Beach Resort, you can take boat trips to the caves to swim inside. Alternatively, take a day trip to the caves on a seaplane tour with Turtle Airways (more info on Viator and Tripadvisor).
