2. Sunset Beach
Aptly named for its incredible sunsets, Sunset Beach on Mana Island is arguably the most famous sunset spot in Fiji. Enjoy walks to the beach from resorts such as the Mana Island Resort & Spa, Ratu Kini’s Backpackers & Dive Resort and Mana Lagoon Backpackers.
Location: Mana Island, Mamanuca Islands
3. Malolo Island
Lining the western shores of Malolo Island in the Mamanucas, several resorts soak in the sunset from their luxurious bures. Whether you’re staying at Malolo Island Resort, Tropica Island Resort, Six Senses Fiji or the Funky Fish Beach & Surf Resort, you’re in for a treat each evening as you see the sun dip behind the Pacific Ocean.

4. Wayasewa (Wayalailai) Island
Getting off the beaten track to the Yasawa Islands rewards you with both amazing sunrises and sunset depending on where you’re staying. Wayasewa Island, also known as Wayalailai, offers amazing sunsets from its beaches, as well as from the rocky hilltop in the centre of the island. Stay at Naqalia Lodge, Wayalaiali Ecohaven or one of the many homestays to enjoy this island and its sunsets.
Location: Wayasewa, Yasawa Islands
On the western shores of Fiji’s main island, Viti Levu, Vuda is close enough to Nadi for convenience yet feels a world away from anywhere when staying in one of the resorts. While it’s not your place for idyllic beaches, the rocky coastline provides an alternative silhouette to your sunset photos. Stay at the Fiji Hideaway Resort & Spa, First Landing Beach Resort or the Anchorage Beach Resort for some spectacular sunsets.
Location: Vuda, Viti Levu
6. Malolo Lailai Island
The sheltered waters on the west side of Malolo Lailai in the Mamanucas makes for some stunning sunset photos. Whether it’s across the marina at Musket Cove Island Resort or across the beaches of Plantation Island Resort or Lomani Island Resort, there are some stellar sunsets to be had from Malolo Lailai.
Location: Malolo Lailai Island, Mamanuca Islands
7. Qalito Island
This small island off the northwestern tip of Malolo Island is small enough to enjoy both sunrise and sunset without having to venture too far. Either way, sunsets from Qalito Island in the Mamanucas can be enjoyed from the island’s only resort, Castaway Island Resort, which offers a range of sunset experiences, from sunset cruises to a private beach dinner.
Location: Qalito Island, Mamanuca Islands
8. Tokoriki Island
From the adult-only Tokoriki Island Resort or the luxurious Sheraton Resort & Spa, enjoy magical beach sunsets on the western side of Tokoriki Island. Surprisingly enough, this is yet another island in the Mamanuca Group capturing amazing hues at sunset.
Location: Tokoriki, Mamanuca Islands
9. Sunset Strip
Lining the southern coast of Viti Levu, the Sunset Strip is a strip of the Coral Coast between Sigatoka and Navua. Aside from staying at the Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort, Bedarra Beach Inn or The Crow’s Nest Resort, other things to do on the Sunset Strip is dining at one of the restaurants and bars lining the oceanfront.
Location: Sigatoka, Coral Coast, Viti Levu
Finally, one of the most buzzing tourist hotspots in Fiji, Denarau can be a lovely place to watch the sunset. One way to take it all in is from one of the harbourside restaurants at Port Denarau.
