The adults-only Waitui Beach Club ticks all the boxes when it comes to health and nutrition. Situated at the Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa, the Waitui Beach Club’s restaurant serves up healthy vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free meals to suit all diets.

2. KORO – Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa
Another adult-only complex in Denarau, KORO, at the Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa, serves up spectacular platters with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Try their stuffed bread, Middle Eastern cuisine and much more!
Their menus are well-labelled with vegetarian and vegan options.

3. Chantara Thai Restaurant – Radisson Blu Fiji Resort
Located within the Radisson Blu Fiji Resort, vegetarians have a wealth of tasty options at the Chantara Thai Restaurant. Every section of the menu has something for vegetarians, from their Phad Thai to their rice stacks to their “Sizzling Plates”.
Their menu is well-labelled with vegetarian and gluten-free options, and the meals contain nuts. Vegans will have to ask what their options are.

4. Indigo Indian Restaurant
With such a large Indo-Fijian population, Fiji is one of the few places in the world where Indian food is just divine. The Indigo Indian Restaurant at Port Denarau is a fantastic option for vegetarians thanks to its extensive and creative menu of vegetarian curries. It’s the perfect option for gluten-free diets too.
It’s a favoured location for hosting special occasions and corporate functions.

5. Nadina Authentic Fijian Restaurant
Try the local cuisine at Nadina Authentic Fijian Restaurant. While the Fijian restaurant doesn’t offer a large selection of vegetarian meals, as Fijian diets mostly consist of seafood, it is the nearest thing vegetarians can get to trying real Fijian food on Denarau.
Try their rourou balls of mashed dalo leaves minced with onion and garlic! Nadina’s is located at the Port Denarau Marina.

6. Blu Bar & Grill – Radisson Blu Fiji Resort
Those dining at the Radisson Blu‘s Blu Bar & Grill will be treated to a variety of vegetarian options that are well-marked on the menu.
Meals that have been featured on past menus include mushroom & feta arancini, eggplant parma, makhana curry, pumpkin tortellini, spinach feta cannelloni and more.

7. Mamacita’s Mexican Restaurant & Bar
Looking for a bit of spice? A bit of flare? Try the Mamacita’s Mexican Restaurant & Bar at the Wyndham Resort. While their vegetarian offering isn’t huge, their spicy vegetable burrito, taco bowl salads and vegetable enchiladas are a must-try!
They also have a great happy hour with 25% off all alcoholic drinks between 3 pm and 6 pm.

8. Lazy Beans Café
Get your veggie fix at the Lazy Beans Cafe, a charming coffée stand at the entrance of Port Denarau. This little gem is perfect for grabbing a quick and delicious vegetarian or vegan wrap on the go.
Their veggie wrap is a flavour explosion, featuring a soy tortilla with linseeds, coriander, and cumin, generously filled with mayo, lettuce, carrot, cucumber, tomato, and capsicum.
Vegans, don’t worry – they’ve got you covered too! The vegan wrap takes it up a notch with the addition of sundried tomatoes and olives. It’s a tasty, healthy option that’ll keep you fuelled for your Denarau adventures.

While Vasaqa Denarau‘s main focus is on meat dishes, vegetarians will be pleasantly surprised by their Fijian-inspired options. Tantalise your taste buds with delightful veggie creations such as the Wild Fern ‘Ota’, a colourful medley of tomato, roast pumpkin, fresh coconut, red onion, mint, chilli, coriander, basil, and a zesty mint drizzle.
Indulge in the Honey Roast Salad, featuring honey-roasted cassava paired with local spinach, paneer, chickpeas, mint, sautéed mushrooms, roast eggplant, salad greens, and pickled red onion.
For a refreshing option, try the Asian Slaw, a mix of toasted sesame, coriander, house-pickled ginger, carrots, chilli, salted red cabbage, green papaya, and mint.
