Luxury Spas in Suva

The bustling city of Suva is far from the relaxing islands Fiji is known for, but travellers can still find peace and tranquillity at one of the luxury spas in Suva.

Where to Get a Massage in Suva

The base of an infamous spa product brand and a stunning day spa, Pure Fiji is a must-visit in Suva. The entrance of the day spa of stepping stones separated by gently running water instantly transports you from the city into a world of bliss. Choose from a huge range of treatments, such as full-body rituals, wraps, facials or something more combined with natural spa products using Fijian plant extracts.

Another sensation spa experience awaits at the five-star Grand Pacific Hotel. The Bliss Spa is complete with a dry sauna, steam shower, and six private massage rooms – two of which are designed for couples. Combine the magic of Pure Fiji lotions and potions with a traditional Fijian ritual or stick with something familiar like a Swedish or a hot stone massage.

An alternative option is for the guests of the four-star, but well-appointed, Novotel Suva Lami Bay hotel and their very own spa services. For more spa options, take a look at our 6 Best Day Spas in Suva.

Luxury Dining in Suva

Known more for its curry houses, floating bars and crowd-pleaser eateries, Suva might not be the picture of “fine food” as we know it. But once you bite into the fresh tropical ingredients or slurp on a flavoursome Indo-Fijian dish, you will second guess what “gourmet” is all about. Nevertheless, if you’re looking for a spectacular dining establishment to celebrate a special occasion or “just because”, then there are a few hidden gems worth discovering.

Fine Dining in Suva

When seeking that “fine dining” experience in Suva, the iconic Grand Pacific Hotel is here to serve. Boasting a wide range of luxurious dining experiences, including exquisite Grand High Tea every Sunday, the Grand Pacific Hotel’s Prince Albert Restaurant is their premier dining venue. The restaurant provides a “taste of the South Pacific” experience using the freshest and most interesting Fijian ingredients.

Gourmet Dining in Suva

Get out there and discover more flavours of Suva through the gourmet dining experiences. Swap the street food-style curry houses for an up-market Indo-Fijian meal at the Maya Dhaba serving a spectacular blend of Indian and Fijian flavours. Think masala crab, kochi fish curry or prawn balchao, for instance. A spectacular teppanyaki experience awaits at the popular Daikoku Japanese restaurant, so make sure you book early. Or eat well at the hotel restaurants, like the Husk Restaurant at the Novotel Suva mixes al fresco dining with delicious Fijian and Western meals, or the Zest Restaurant and its Pacific Rim cuisine at the Tanoa Plaza.
