The island, located just 25 minutes from the Nadi Airport, is the go-to island for luxury holidays and luxury nightlife experiences. Far from your drunken late-night partying, Denarau is more about a relaxed drink in stunning environments.

1. Bonefish Seafood Restaurant

Sip on tropical delights at Bonefish Seafood Restaurant, where refreshing cocktails and a laid-back atmosphere await.

Their signature “Tropical Mojito” comes with a twist, offering flavours like mango, passionfruit, or watermelon to tantalise your taste buds. For those who like a bit of heat, the “Chili Paloma” combines tequila, grapefruit juice, and muddled chilli for a spicy kick.

Be sure to try the “Blue Push”, a vibrant mix of white rum, blue curaçao, and pineapple juice that is as visually stunning as it is delicious. If you’re feeling adventurous, try their interactive “Shark Attack drink”, where you get to play mixologist.

Of course, classic cocktails like Pina Coladas, Margaritas, and Daiquiris are always on hand for those who prefer the tried-and-true favourites. With its relaxed vibe and diverse drink menu, Bonefish is the perfect spot to unwind after a day of island adventures.

2. Lulu’s Bar Restaurant & Cafe

A fantastic option at Port Denarau is Lulu’s Bar. The bar, with indoor and alfresco seating, has a huge drinks menu with Australian and New Zealand wines, tropical cocktails, dessert cocktails and local and international beers. Be sure to try their famous “Espresso Martini”!

3. The Havana Breeze Bar & Republik – Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa

With views of the Pacific Ocean on one side and the Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa lagoon-style pool on the other, The Havana Breeze Bar is a stunning place to spend the night drinking with friends.

Who doesn’t love a swim-up pool bar?! It’s the real way to spend “Fiji time“. Check out The Wet Edge at the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort, especially for happy hour between 4 pm and 5 pm for discounts on cocktails.

Once aboard, you’ll find yourself spoilt for choice with an array of tropical cocktails, beers, and wines. Fancy a bite? The menu features a variety of grazing options, from tapas to burgers, fish and chips, and veggie delights.

With a sprawling 550 square metres of space, there’s plenty of room to lounge, dine, or dance the day away. And if you’re feeling adventurous, why not try your hand at the afternoon limbo competition? Just remember, what happens at Seventh Heaven, stays at Seventh Heaven!

What’s that? Another floating bar?! Cloud 9 is a floating bar in the Mamanuca Islands; not just a bar, but an experience! Boat trips from Port Denarau depart regularly to take keen sun-seekers and cocktail-sippers to this floating pizza bar, which serves up wood-fired pizzas, as well as drinks from all over the world.

What’s more, tickets include a bar tab! It’s a party there and back with a bar also set up on the boat transfer!

7. KORO – Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa

To escape the noise of screaming kids (or your own kids), spend the afternoon in the adults-only KORO restaurant and bar of the Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa. 9. Mamacita Mexican Restaurant & Bar – Wyndham Resort Denarau Island

Mamacita Mexican Restaurant & Bar situated within the Wyndham Resort Denarau Island is your go-to for tequila, cocktails and happiness. Happy hour is 3 to 6 pm daily, offering a generous 25% off all alcoholic drinks!

The themed events are always great fun, such as their Fire-Dancing Fridays or the Fijian-themed Tuesdays with a lovo buffet – food cooked in an underground oven – and Fijian dancers.
