© FijiPocketGuide.comProposal Ideas for Denarau
Romance is in the air in Fiji. It might be the sparklingly clear waters, the feeling of sand between your toes, or the warm, soothing temperatures. Whatever the reason for many couples choosing Fiji to start the rest of their lives together, it makes for a romantic setting to pop the question. Here are some ideas to make your wedding proposal truly special.
Helicopter Flight and Island Proposals
Seeing the glistening waters peppered with tropical islands from above is a magical experience in itself. Combine this with a wedding proposal, and it’s sure to be a day you’ll both never forget. Helicopter tours with Heli-Tours Fiji or Pacific Island Air transport fiancés-to-be to secluded islands where the teams can help you create a memorable and personalised proposal.
The helicopter will fly over your message in the sand before touching down on the island so you can ask the big question. Toast to spending the rest of your lives together as you relax on the beach.
Learn more about these experiences in The Guide to Helicopter Tours in Fiji.
If a secluded beach isn’t your thing, swap it for a day of fun with a proposal package at the Malamala Beach Club with snorkelling, stand-up paddle boarding, swimming and butler service in your own private cabana. Again, your personalised message in the sand will be read as you touch down on the island in your chartered helicopter.
Proposals on a Tour
They’ll never see it coming when popping the question on one of the many tours available from Denarau Island. In our experience, most tour companies are happy to provide tailored experiences, such as proposals. They may be able to arrange a romantic setting, such as a private sunset cruise or a secluded beach picnic, to make the occasion memorable.
It’s usually best to book these experiences directly and ahead of time to allow operators to prepare.
Romantic Dinner Proposals
There’s nothing more romantic than fine dining under the stars at your very own private table. Radisson Blu Resort‘s Signature Tables offer a personal butler service as you and your loved one enjoy a sophisticated menu, including a double-tower seafood platter for two.
Alternatively, the Salt Sensation Dinner at the Sofitel Fiji Resort offers a private beachfront bure setup with signature cocktails on arrival, a three-course meal and a personal waiter for the evening.
