How to Geft to the Pacific Harbour and Beqa
So where is this little corner of adventure paradise? The Pacific Harbour is located on the southeast coast of Fiji’s main island, Viti Levu, about a 2 hrs 30 mins drive from Nadi International Airport and a one-hour drive from Fiji’s capital, Suva. For the Pacific Harbour islands, such as Beqa Island and Royal Davui Island, boat or air transport is available.
Pacific Harbour by Private Transfer
Private transfers offer a comfortable and luxurious way to get to the Pacific Harbour from Nadi International Airport. Your driver will be waiting at the airport for you ready to take you to the doorstep of your chosen Pacific Harbour resort, stopping by shops and services along the way if you choose. Check out private transfer recommendations in the 10 Best Airport Transfers in Fiji and the Pacific Harbour Transport Guide.
Luxury Car Rental
With so much to explore on the Pacific Harbour and the nearby Suva and Coral Coast, you might want to consider renting your own luxury vehicle. Car rental depots are located in Nadi and around Nadi Airport. Brands like Europcar have luxury rental vehicles in their Prestige range, while Hertz has modern Jeep Compasses and Ford Rangers. See The Best Car Rentals in Fiji for a full comparison of car rental companies.
Resort Road/Boat Transfers to Beqa Island
If you are staying on one of the Beqa Island or Royal Davui resorts, then you have a couple of options to get to the islands from the Pacific Harbour. The easiest way (via road) is through a resort road and boat transfer, which is organised with your resort. See which resorts offer this service in the Pacific Harbour Transport Guide.
Flights to Royal Davui Island
Get to the Royal Davui Island Resort with ease by taking a helicopter flight or a seaplane flight from Nadi International Airport. Transport can be organised with the resort.
For more options, see our 10 Ways to Get to the Pacific Harbour & Beqa.

Luxury Services in the Pacific Harbour Resorts
The magic of a five-star holiday on the Pacific Harbour is finding those extra services to make your “Fiji time” exactly as you imagined it. Here are some examples of what the luxury resorts in this stunning corner of Fiji have to offer.
Adults-Only Luxury
Those seeking peace and tranquillity during their Fiji escape will find it in the private experiences and adult-only areas of the Pacific Harbour’s luxury resorts. The Royal Davui Island Resort is an adults-only resort exclusive to guests over the age of 16. Nanuku Resort offers a wealth of private activities, from fishing charters to private island cruises, as well as several private dining options. Finally, the Lalati Resort & Spa on Beqa Island offers private dinners for couples and a private lagoon cruise. Find out more in The Adults-Only Guide to Pacific Harbour & Beqa.
Kids’ Clubs
Compared to the Pacific Harbour’s neighbour, the Coral Coast, the number of resorts offering kids’ clubs is limited. However, the Nanuku Resort has an action-packed agenda at the Lailai Children’s Club where kids get to engage in exciting cultural and educational activities like warrior drumming and sandcastle-building competitions. The resort also offers nanny services, so either way, Mum and Dad will get some time to reconnect. See our Guide to the Pacific Harbour & Beqa for Families for more information.
Weddings and Honeymoons
A special occasion deserves a special destination and the Pacific Harbour and Beqa Island are, in our opinion, an obvious go-to. All the luxury resorts in the area offer magnificent venues for your special day, wedding packages and exclusive and romantic experiences. Have a barefoot beachfront wedding on Beqa Island, say “I do” in a sophisticated island wedding chapel, connect with a “Castaway Experience” on your own private island for the day, and much more at the luxury resorts of the Pacific Harbour. See our Wedding & Honeymoon Guide to the Pacific Harbour & Beqa for more details.

While many of us want to spend our Fiji time relaxing and unwinding from the stresses of everyday life, there are a few special experiences worth getting out of the hammock for.
Luxury Water Activities
Adventurous types will discover a whole new world in the famous Beqa Lagoon. Just off the shores of Beqa Island and the Pacific Harbour is one of the world’s largest barrier reefs containing the famous Beqa Lagoon. The Pacific Harbour is home to one of Fiji’s most prestigious and popular golf courses, The Pearl Golf & Country Club. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, this 18-hole par-72 course keeps on theme with the “adventure capital” offering an adventurous course of tropical treelined fairways, river and lily pond obstacles and more surprises. At the end of your game, sit down to gourmet cuisine at the Clubhouse or cool off in the outdoor swimming pool. Learn more in The Complete Guide to Golf in Fiji.
This one mixes a bit of land and water activities, but it’s still an experience well worth treating yourself to. Enjoy a “Secret Island Trip” with Beqa Lagoon Resort where you’ll cruise to a beautiful atoll surrounded by vibrant blue waters and stunning snorkelling opportunities. The island itself only appears for a few hours each day. The Nanuku Resort offers private island trips either during the day, for guided snorkelling, paddleboarding and fishing, or at sunset with a barbecue dinner and sleeping under the stars in your own safari tent.
