Nadi International Airport is Fiji’s main international airport. It’s the airport that most travellers will arrive in when flying from overseas to Fiji. Nadi International Airport is located in Namaka, about 10km from the city centre of Nadi and around 190km from Fiji’s capital city, Suva. While Nadi International Airport deals with around 97% of international visitors in Fiji, it’s also a hub for domestic flights too. Nausori International Airport is Fiji’s second international airport. While the airport does not see as many international flights as Nadi International Airport, Nausori International Airport operates a high percentage of Fiji’s domestic flights. Nausori International Airport is located in Nausori, around 23km from Suva.

Fiji is home to 25+ domestic airports. With the exception of Nadi and Nausori International Airports, the domestic airports in Fiji are very basic with limited facilities. In fact, only four out of all of Fiji’s airports have paved runways!

Domestic Airlines

Fiji Airways’ domestic flight service, Fiji Link and Northern Air are the main domestic airlines in Fiji. Other domestic flight services run resort and island transfers and charter flights, such as Pacific Island Air, Turtle Airways and Heli-Tours Fiji, specifically focussed on the Mamanuca Islands and the Yasawa Islands.

  • Fiji Airways (Fiji Link) – Flying to Nadi, Suva, Rotuma, Labasa, Savusavu, Taveuni, Vanuabalavu, Lakeba, Koro, Cicia and Kadavu.
  • Northern Air – Flying to Nadi, Suva, Labasa, Levuka, Savusavu and Moala.
  • Pacific Island Air – Flying to the Mamanuca Islands and Yasawa Islands.
