How to Get Around Fiji in 7 Days
The 7-day itinerary below involves both road and overwater travel. Here is a quick rundown of how to get around Fiji on an adult-only getaway.
Road Transport in Fiji
You wanted an island-hopping itinerary? Don’t worry; this 7-day itinerary has minimal road travel with only resort transfers between Denarau and Nadi International Airport. While we recommend arranging a private transfer with those we list in the 15 Best Airport Transfers in Fiji, see more options in the 5 Ways to Get to Denarau Island.
Interisland Transport in Fiji
This is what island-hopping is all about! This itinerary incorporates transport by fast catamaran ferries, but a more appropriate option for keeping your trip exclusively “adults only” could be taking a water taxi between Denarau and the Mamanuca Islands. See the 5 Ways to Get to the Mamanuca Islands for more information. To get back from the Yasawa Islands, we recommend treating yourself to a seaplane or helicopter experience, which is ideal for an intimate adults-only holiday. See the 5 Ways to Get to the Yasawa Islands for more details and alternatives.
