How to Get Around Fiji in 14 Days
The 14-day itinerary below involves both road and overwater travel. Here is a quick rundown of how to get around Fiji on an adult-only holiday.
Road Transport in Fiji
Three of the islands mentioned on this itinerary have roads: Viti Levu, Vanua Levu and Taveuni. While airport transfers organised by some resorts provide an easy and intimate way to get around, taxis are also an option on these islands – but be sure to agree on a price first as taxis do not use metres outside of Nadi.
Overwater Transport in Fiji
This adult-only itinerary for Fiji includes fast catamaran ferries between Viti Levu and the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands. On the other hand, water taxis provide a more private adult-only experience at a premium rate. Getting between Viti Levu, Vanua Levu and Taveuni requires taking a domestic flight by plane, as well as the option for a scenic helicopter transfer between Vanua Levu and Taveuni. More details are mentioned on each day of the itinerary where appropriate.
